Truax & Company grew the Five Borough Bee Company from a small idea into a complex cooperative enterprise one productive and exciting conversation at a time. From discussions with City Hall, educators, the Parks Department, gourmet and restaurant buyers, slow food leaders and, most importantly, the beekeepers themselves, the project proves that the best ideas have unforeseen benefits for every aspect of the communities that both birth and nurture them.
